This workshop continues to explore different forms of creativity and how they inspire writing, mc-ing and spoken word poetry. Use film, photography, music, collage, and other forms of artistic expression to tell the unique story of your life. CREATIVELY COLLEGE BOUND – Eagle Nebula

This program is geared towards HS juniors & seniors who want their creative critical voice to soar over the tedium of the college application process. Using spoken word and hip-hop as inspiration, we will write high-quality college application essays and explore numerous scholarship opportunities. This workshop will put you on track to get into college, and to GET MONEY.
 
RAP = RHYTHM & POETRY - M.C. K~Swift
Fridays, October 1 – December 17 4:30-6:30PM
Using Hip-Hop Music and Hip-Hop Cultural History as a springboard, participants will explore their own histories and creativity through dynamic writing and performance exercises.  This will be a space where young people can freely express themselves, while learning to be active and positive contributors to their community.  The crux of this workshop is the mechanics of rap as a poetic form.
