This workshop will look at the various tools used to emphasize and enhance the spoken word. Discussing rhyme patterns, cadences, and the various physical tools used to create "visual poetry”. Exploring the art of poetry through great performances from various forms including Hip Hop, studying the poem’s structure, and deliveries we will develop new pieces as well as the physical tools to take poetry off the page and onto the stage.
